These terms govern your access to and use of the Kronistic website, app, and services. The website and app are available only to those who agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the website or app. By using the website and/or app, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set forth below.
We reserve the right to change and update these Terms of Service as Kronistic evolves and grows. We will post updated Terms of Service on this website (https://kronistic.com/terms) and notify all registered account holders by email. If you do not agree with future updated Terms of Service, you must cease use of Kronistic’s website, app, and services at that time.
Rules of Conduct
Kronistic is committed to facilitating a lawful environment with high integrity, transparency, and safety. Therefore, you are required to make the following commitments:
- You are 13 years of age or older
- You will not use our services to stalk, harass, or harm anyone
- You will not misrepresent your personal data or impersonate any individual or entity
- You will not create a Kronistic account using calendar authentication credentials that you are not authorized by the calendar owner to use
- You will not access any data that you have not been expressly permitted to access, and you will not use bots, data mining, or similar data gathering technologies to attempt to gather any such data
- You will not use Kronistic to disseminate malware of any kind, or do anything that could disable or impair the performance or appearance of our services, website, or app
- You will not attempt to limit or interrupt distribution of our services, website, or app
- You will not use our services to create a competing product or redistribute any element of this product
- You will not resell or broker these services to any third party
- You do not have prior Kronistic accounts that were terminated due to violation of any of our policies or relevant laws
- You will not use Kronistic in any way that is unlawful, misleading, discriminatory, or fraudulent
- You will not use Kronistic in any way that infringes on or breaches anyone else’s rights, including intellectual property rights
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account without prior notice for breaching the terms of this agreement (including our Privacy Policy) and/or violation of relevant law.
Notifications and Messages
When you create a Kronistic account, you agree to receive notifications and messages from us. These notifications and messages will be sent by email to the email address affiliated with your account and/or the email address that a meeting creator uses to invite you to attend a meeting. These notifications include but are not limited to notifications related to meetings that you create or attend (you may set the frequency and parameters of these notifications in your account settings), notifications related to account creation and maintenance, and messages from the Kronistic staff with important information for our users.
You are responsible for providing an accurate email address and for reading emails from Kronistic. Messages and notifications that we send to you at the email address that you provide will satisfy all legal requirements for written communication with you.
Jurisdiction
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware.
Liability Waiver
Except as otherwise described in these Terms of Service and the Kronistic Privacy Policy, this website and app, including services offered by sale on it and transactions that are conducted on it, are provided to you on an “as is” basis. To the full extent permitted by the law, we disclaim all warranties express or implied, including but not limited to service applicability to a particular purpose, system integration, and data accuracy. Our website may include inaccuracies and mistakes such as typographical errors. The website, app, and services may experience periods of outage or disruption for reasons including but not limited to system updates, third-party partner downtimes, malware attacks, and natural disasters. While using our website, app, or services to disseminate malware is against these Terms of Service, it is possible that bad actors will do so. We do not warrant that the website content or the app service will be error free or uninterrupted.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any damages arising from use of this website. In cases of alleged damages, our total liability to you will not exceed either (1) $100 or (2) the total amount of fees that you paid to us in the year preceding the claim.
